" Voice and guitar in dialogue – myths reborn through sound "
Aleph Duo is an intimate and adventurous collaboration between vocalist Alice Claudia Lenaz and guitarist-composer Alessandro Balladore. Together, they explore the boundaries between song, improvisation and sound poetry – creating delicate yet powerful musical narratives.
Their debut album, ALEPH, is a concept work inspired by Greek mythology. Each piece draws from ancient tales and archetypes – from the echo of Eurydice and the silence of Penelope, to the fierce longing of Ariadne or the vision of Cassandra. The result is a sequence of modern musical myths: haunting, minimal, and emotionally charged.
In ALEPH, voice and guitar move in fluid counterpoint – sometimes fragile, sometimes raw – always in deep conversation. The duo weaves melody, spoken word, and extended techniques into an evocative soundscape that lives between song and story.
Aleph Duo is not afraid of silence, nor of space. Their performances are intimate and immersive, inviting listeners into a world where the past breathes through the present – and where mythology becomes personal again.
