Alice Claudia Lenaz is a Belgian-Italian visual artist whose work explores the dialogue between body, movement, line and matter. Through paintings, live performances and masterclasses, she transforms gesture into visual memory.

Alice Claudia Lenaz is a Belgian-Italian multidisciplinary visual artist whose practice moves between portraiture, inner landscapes and the human presence.
Rooted in eighteen years of classical dance, her visual language is shaped by rhythm, balance, space and the intelligence of the body. She works in layers—not only with pigment and charcoal, but with intuition, matter and memory.
Across paintings, drawings and live performances, Lenaz explores what remains after a movement has passed: a trace, a tension, a moment held in line.

LIVE ACTION DRAWING · LARGE-SCALE CHARCOAL
In Draw Dancing, charcoal fixed to the artist’s fingers transforms her body into a drawing instrument.
Controlled, rhythmic movement creates a large-scale network of lines: a work that exists first as performance and remains as the memory of that movement.
The performance can be adapted to exhibitions, cultural programmes, commemorations and interdisciplinary events.
