" Three children with fur hats on an empty beach "

The meeting of two Italian musicians unfolds through an unusual instrumental pairing, giving shape to a collection of original compositions by Bruno and Bongianino.

Their music moves freely between jazz and folk sensibilities, where echoes of pop, groove and psychedelia emerge and dissolve. Melodies surface like distant memories, suggesting cinematic landscapes rather than describing them, while silence and space become integral elements of the musical discourse.

Improvisation breathes within these forms, as the two musicians continuously shift between leading and supporting roles, tracing subtle paths through ever-changing sonic territories.

On selected pieces, the sound expands with the presence of Uruguayan percussionist Andrés Ticino, whose contributions add new textures and rhythmic depth.

Line-up:

Nicola Bruno – 4 & 6 string electric bass, fretless bass
Roberto Bongianino – accordion, bandoneon, accordina
