With the release of their new album in May 2026, the Laurent Maur / Dominique Vantomme Quartet unveils a collection of original works that explore the borders between jazz, impressionism and contemporary groove. The music is both intimate and adventurous, guided by expressive melodies, refined harmonies and vibrant interplay. Led by the remarkable partnership of Laurent Maur — one of Europe’s most distinctive voices on chromatic harmonica — and pianist/composer Dominique Vantomme, known for his rich harmonic language and atmospheric textures, the quartet brings a fresh palette of sound to the stage. They are joined by the solid and warm groove of Werner Lauscher on double bass and the inventive, dynamic drumming of Mimi Verderame. Their concerts reveal a musical world where emotion meets exploration: lyrical, spacious, rhythmically alive and full of storytelling. Each composition invites the audience into a new landscape, shifting from delicate intimacy to energetic improvisation with fluid elegance.
